Today we spent the day rereading and rewriting some parts of our thesis. Mostly to get back into the writing mode because the writing week started.
In the morning we had the joy of visiting the bookbinder which is going to bind our thesis. In our first meeting with them we already discussed our idea and the first little mock up we did. We were super happy to see, that they iterated themselves with their ideas on our input. They came up with a clever way of fitting the two book-blocks into one cover with a nice interaction when opening the book. Also we got a first estimate on how much the thing (times six because we need 6 copy of our thesis) will cost. We know the direction but still have to decide exactly on the realisation we would like to have.
